well let me start........ all my fuses are fine. checked many times.... o maybe i am just a retard. but my dome lights dont work, my rear defroster doesnt work, my cd player and my clock works now only because i rerouted the power. but here is whats jacked up.... when i turn my cd player off the rear defroster works. when it is on it says that a door is open. meanwhile the dome lights still dont work.... wtf is wronge with my car? 97 integra ls..... incase that matters. and i only rerouted the power for the cd player to what my fog light switch gets power from. sorry i know its long

 

take it to th dealer man, u have some sort of electrical problem.. prob a shoert somewhere

WHAT THE HELL...haha...so confusing...just take it to the dealer...unless u can clear it up....you probably wired it wrong where..so how...i dont mess with wires...unless you know what your doin...this might be worth the dealer price to check on it...

UR BEST is to go the dealer or a acura speacilist. its har to dicpher whats really wrong with ur car since were not there

Check your grounds.

 

There are also fuses under the hood...did you check all those?

This guy is on the right track and I will throw in my two cents as well.

You have no blown fuses so that means you have no shorts to ground before the power load (lights or whatever), You say that one thing works when another is not working, to me this sounds like a possible cross short.

You need to get a wiring diagram and look for all the parts that arent working and trace each one separatly back to power and ground. The two things you need for each thing to start working is power and ground.

 

what kind of work was last done to the car? was a stereo system installed? it usually leads back to the last work done to the car.

 

I don't think its the problem with wiring. I have the same problem hahahaa. My dome light is out. I also notice that the light for my door is on, only with i go to radio, not cd. I don't know if my defroster works, haven't used it for months.

I fixed my problem. It was the 7.5 amp fuse. Check that and you shoule be fine.
