i was driving listening to music and my cd player just turned off, and wont turn on again, its a sony flip display.. i took it out and dont see any disconnections or anything, it will still take cd's into it and spit them out and the screen still flips out but theres no power at all besides that, nothing works, someone have any help for me?

well if theres still power going to it...and there no fuses blown (check those..but it wouldnt work at all if the fuses were blown) then it sounds like it could be an internal problem... i hope you have a warranty on it!

A flip display as in its still a detachable face....or it has a 5" LCD with video inputs? The reason I ask is that some of the detachable face cd players have issues when they get old, the connection is week between the unit and face plate. This will cause a loss of power. just food for thought

its not a tv or big screen or anything its a flip display or whatever, it doesn't detatch either, thx though
