if you got it, flaunt it! just make sure it's on straight. i've seen many fmic's that look like they are leaning at an angle.
otherwise, you can be keep it stealthy and leave the grill.

 

lose the grill, you'll probably end up chopping it up anyway

looks good if the grill is still on to me

 

i like the 94-97 or whatever year it is with the grill and the intercooler

the 98-00 ones look hot without the grill...if u got a big intercooler

and make sure to paint the IC flat black too. a nice shiney IC WILL be stolen. its just a matter of time... a flat black ic will 1)be mistaken for the radiator, or 2) just not noticed. a shiney bling bling IC will be seen be every one. including theives. you might as well put a sticker on it that says "steal me and my car"

I've got a 99 teg and trying to decide the same thing. A bonus of keeping the grill there is if you ever want to sell it as stock, its of course better to have the grill on. But on the other hand, it looks damn sweet with it blinging without the gril!
And on the third hand, I like the look, or non look, of the painted flat black i/c with the grill. Very stealth like, until you hear that sweet bov sound!

I'd Lose the grill. But hey do what you want.

 

I'd keep the grill. You don't want to attract the wrong attention. I like the way B18C1-Turbo has it.
