Default cusco cage?

Im about to purchase a type-r cusco 6 point cage, and I was just wondering if its well worth it for me. I drive a turbo b18b1 integra and I do a lot of solo 1. I mjust wondering if anyone has expirecne or stories from the cusco cages?

I think I was thinking of Costco, thats why I said Custco, haha oops..

It's Cusco, not custco, and how much is it? I know that a lot of people like the autopower cages based on the fact that they're not only extremely effective, but also relatively inexpensive.

haha Im sorry its real last and Im tired. cusco my bad.

the guy is selling it for $600 cdn, new in the box. I checked

out the cusco site and they sell for $700 us + tax + ship.. so around $1200 to my door.

So I figure its half price, not to mention its 6 point detachable, which I can just pull off the 2 bars on the sides of the doors and keep the 4 point for solo.

$600 CDN sounds pretty damn good. I'd jump on the opportunity.

alright im not sure the exact details about this but make sure it is a cusco cage for real, cause supposedly there is cusco and cuscos lower brand that is called something 21, and their cages sell for about 300 bucks USD. do a little checking around with him ask some questions and such.

Safety 21; I believe Cusco and Safety 21 are both made by Okuyama (Carbing); you can ask Dee to be sure...I'm sleepy now

cusco cage is for show
not functional at all
it will acutally be worse in an accident, because the bar will break and possibly puncture your body

And so we have the truth. Are the Safety 21 cages "show only" as well?

also i hear cusco bars don't really work well with LHD and the glove box... a friend has the cusco roll cage in his S13 and the glove box barely opens a couple inches then gets stuck by hitting the bars

If find that Cusco cage pretty safe. I met with a guy last night whos car flipped several times, and the cage was the only thing keeping the hood from caving in? But it is infact Cusco cage, not the 21 brand.
