Anyone here use the ZEX kit???
If you do, could you tell me more about it than the website? I've got a 94 gsr with 107K on it but the motor is strong....I was wondering how much damage I would casuse by running a 55 shot...If anyone can just generally give me soome more info on it and their experiences with it I'd greatly appreciate it...TIA
As long as your engine is strong and you haven't lightened your factory flywheel you should be fine. I'd swap out plugs though, and maybe wires. Check into your timing as well. While we're at it, how's the clutch holding?
I know about getting the colder plugs and my clutch has been replaced about 7K ago with an oem type r clutch assembly, didn't touch the flywheel tho.....
I run a 55 shot on my gsr with no retard in timing and the zex plugs no problem.. The only thing that i've hurt with it is the clutch. The stock clutch doesnt like the extra hp and slips

i've been looking into getting the venom digital nos system, have you guys heard anything about this system, is it worth the 1k+ i'll end up paying for it
Why can't you have a Lightened flywheel with nitrous?

Don't want to risk that.
These topics have already been covered everyone.
my friend is running a zex 75 shot on a otherwise stock 98 GSR, stock plugs, stock timing. runs strong as hell all day, but his clutch is going fast.
50 shot is nothing to a gsr engine, dont sweat it.

55 shot is fine on a GSR...once u get to a higher shot...such as 75..u need to retard timing, get an ignition and fuel regulator...(75+ run a wet shot, get a different nitrous kit)...55 shot run dry...(Zex)...the venom is nice, but not worth the money if your going to be squeezing that small amount of nitrous
