Icon2 Need to Replace Clutch -- Advice?

Oem clutch is old, and doesn't grab. Time for a new one. Engine is currently stock (B18). Not planning on going much over 200hp, but figure i might as well upgrade the clutch a bit. Leaning toward stage 1 exedy, and a lighter flywheel. Looked at XTD and F1 and heard too many horror stories. All advice welcome.

I run an ACT clutch with the stock flywheel, 94 RS W/GS-R transmission and a 75 shot ZEX kit, no problems on the autocross coarse or DD. 94

Thanks. Just curious what stage clutch you're running, as well as power #'s on the motor.

F1 is the same as SPEC clutches btw.

Ive ran the stage 2 and stage 3 in two different cars, loved it. Super grippy

with the internet deals on the exedy1 it would be my choice. holds up to autocross and has stock like engagement.

clutches are one place where more is not always better

Don't go too light on flywheel if you drive on big hills/mountains. The lighter you go the less momentum will be stored in flywheel. If you're in the flats, no prob.

With the 75 shot I am at a hair over 200HP, using the AI4-HDSS. 94
