Default Exhaust Piping Size For Turbo Type R

Okay guys

I'm getting ready to put my custom turbo kit on my Civic with a JDM B18C swap.
I don't plan on running more than 7 lbs of boost. Should I go with 2.5" or 3" exhaust. Mandrel Bent or Crushed bent.

I recently got a ball park price to do all stainless steel of $750. That includes high flow cat, resonator, mandrel bent tubing, and a muffler. Is this price on the high side.

My kit consists of a InlinePro Manifold, Precision Sc50, Tial 38mm, RC440, Hondata S200B, JohnnyRaceCar 6" Intercooler, Greddy EGT Gauge, Plx 300M Wideband Controller. Plus a few other things. Like I said I don't plan on running more than 7 lbs. of boost. Will a 2.5" exhaust hold me back? Or do I go 3".

Any personal experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

J

2.5" will be more than enough for the power you want to make.i have a customer making 443whp with 2.5" downpipe and exhaust.
