Default wastegate to compressor vacuum line

it says the side fitting on the gwastegate goes to the compressor side of the turbo. The top fitting goes to the boost controller...

my turbo (F-R t3/t67) has no vac lines hookup on the compressor that i can see... am i blind (doubtful), or am i doing this all wrong (likely)?

that's exactly how mine's hooked up. if yours doesn't have a fitting on the compressor side of the turbo (mines just an inch or so up from where the first charge pipe connects. you may have to tap one. but i'd wait for someone's opinion that knows for sure. so i here's a free bump for ya.

run it to the manifold instead, i and most other people like it better that way anyway...its a more accurate reading that the turbo because it makes the wastegate react off what the motor is actually seeing and not off the turbo before the pressure drop in the intercooler

anyone have a diagram for a tial 38mm wastegate? Only two holes on that one. Does the side go to boost controller and top goes to turbo?

if you are using a manula boost controller i beleive the side one goes to the comnpressor or manifold whichever you choose and teh manual boost controller goes inbetwen the 2 INLINE if you say.. but if you are using a electronic boost controller the COM side of the boost solonoid goes to the top vac port on the wastegate and the ND side of the solonoid gets Teed into teh vacuum line that goes from the compressor to teh side port on the wastegate.. hope that helps

leave the top one open if you have no boost controller. for the side one i would source the vacuum from the intake manifold. hth.
