Default need intake help

I installed my home made intake on my 5th gen prelude. I removed the stock resonator and also the little vacum box. I tied a knot in the line leading to the front of the intake manifold from the resonator. I noticed now a nipple sticking up from my manual trans. what is this nipple for? Also there is a little box behind my right front turnsignal what is this box?

If you're talking about the one in the front fender well, it has a butterfly also. Helps torque. Throw it out. Tied a knot!? Just stick a vacum plug on the line. it's cleaner.

So then the nipple is supposed to be there and be uncovered? Also the little black box is what? It isn't connected to the resonator.

I think he's talking about that metal tube thing sticking out of the tranny. I believe if helps it breath or something like that...

It isn't supposed to be connected to anything right? And also what is that black box up there?

Oh ok. Someone told me that there is supposed to be a rubber cover for it, but you don't really need it. Is that where you put the transmission fluid in?

That is the transmission breather tube, not a filler inlet. It is suppose to have a little rubber cap on it to prevent dirt and foriegn particles from getting in the transmission.

yes its the tranny vent tube. you can fill your tranny from there but it takes 4EVAR!!! as for that little black box, maybe youre talking about the IAC?

I'm pretty sure I have a small piece of a rag folded over a couple times with a rubber band on it right now.

As for filling it there, you should not, because you can over fill it. That's why the filler hole is on the side of the tranny, so when it starts to run out, its full, and you can't over fill it.
