You get what you pay for. You are comparing apples and oranges, however, JDMShit CF hoods are very good for the money.

 

I'm not familiar with Bodykits NW cf hoods, but I recently bought a jdmshit cf hood. Although the weave is pretty good, the surface is not consistantly smooth. For example if you look at the hood from an angle, there are various bumps and small slopes.

I also compared my hood with a friend's cf hood. My hood was alot heavier and more flexable (flimsy). If I was to purchase a cf hood all over again, I would not buy jdm"****".

You get what you pay for.

What do you mean? You probably think VIS makes such GREAT hoods. IMO VIS hoods are pointless besides for looks, they weigh about as much as the stock hood. Or what Spoon and spend a grand?

 

I own a jdmshit hood, and I have no complaints.. Needed modification at first but all body parts dont fit right from the start.

Its light too, and I have no problems with the weave.

I would pick the lightest one. I wouldn't be a priss about it and complain about the surface. It would be funny to see a true race car driver jump out of his car at the end of the race and say he lost because the CF surface was faded or slightly uneven.

well first of all, i don't believe JDMSHIT makes their own cf products. If i'm not mistaken they are from ABSDynamics, so i wouldnt go around bashing the company selling them. It is a good hood for the price from everything that i've seen, and I can vouch personally for the service and quality of JDMSHIT as a company.

 

my buddy just installed the cf hood from bodykits nw about 3 weeks ago, and the quality is just awsome!! and great service as well!

give bodykits nw a call, and you will know what i mean. great guy!
