Default possibly scammed by SHULDER!!!!

well i may have been scammed on a gsr crankshaft. i need one for my type r and i found a guy selling one that only had 7500 miles. he gave me a couple vouches and i checked them, everything seemed fine. i send him a money order and 10 days go by and i finally get the crank. problem!!! journal #2 has been scarred and the crank needs to be turned. i PM this guy and he says hes not sending my money back because the crank was perfect when he shipped it. So did it spin a bearing in the mail??? the guy lives in Maryland, i dont want to post any personal info hoping that we can work something out. if any of you know him, can you help me out. its a shame some people on HT cant be trusted

The Crank is in good condition...What is with you damn kids these days. If you REALLY want your $30 to get it polished, if it's in THAT BAD OF SHAPE...Then I'll give it to you. You need to learn to talk to people, rather then just fly off the handle. Go back to school and learn about communication. Ask, rather then just assume. I'm sick of people trying to put my name out there as a scammer because they are to ignorant, themselves to do the right thing.

. He's contacted you from his initial post, and with the attitude you present yourself in this thread, it co-incides with what the buyer is saying.

did you mention the crank was perfect when you shipped it? From what you've written above, are you sure everyones out to call you a scammer or are you perhaps not 100% accurately describing your for sale items sometimes almost always?

Tom - who's a 3rd party just listening to both ends of the story in this thread.

I have to agree. If you said it was perfect when it was sent, and it arrived in any condition less than perfect, then the blame is on you if the damage/wear is anything that can't be caused by mailing the item.

its not a matter of communication. its a matter of you saying the part was mint and its not. the crank needs to be machined, not just a little polished. journal #2 has signifigant scarring and is nowhere near mint as you said it was. i dont see the problem in me paying to ship it back to you and you sending me my money back, simple as that.

BTW, anyone in MD the guy lives in Reisterstown, not sure where that is. i would like to settle this like adults. im still hoping

So it went from "not a scratch on it" to "good condition?"

Oy Veh...I'm not a scammer, and I'm not a dick. But people always take the persons side who "got scammed" It's not a matter of winning, or losing. If it's really in that bad of shape that your machinist said, then I have no choice to give you a full refund. Just next time, be mature about it, and tell your buddies to grow up

I think the issue here has less to do with the actual product and more to do with the description you gave of the product. If I pay money for a product that someone says doesn't have a scratch, then I'd be seriously pissed if I could find any scratches.

Next time, maybe you should tell the TRUTH and be more accurate in describing parts you sell.

That's the same thing as scamming; not sending what you promised or lying about what you're selling.

this thread is useless without pictures of the "scared" journal! untill there are pictures we are just taking the word of a possible scammer over another possible scammer.....

see what i'm saying.....

maybe the poster is just trying to get some money back!!

JUST SAYING....the glass isn't always half full....sometimes it is half empty!
