Default stuttering....again, please help!

Yes, I searched! No specific answer found.
My car used to hesitate 2 months ago. After i adjusted the throttle cable, everything was fine until now.

Here's what happened, I hit a bump going 65 to 70mph, the car started to bog, stutter, jerk, hesitate whatever you wanna call it. Tried to step on the gas no response,( it feels like the engine is gonna die). Waited for 5secs. .. CEL came on. After the CEL came on, the hesitation is gone then the sound from my exhaust changed. Loud and rattling sound, very annoying! Could it be my Catalytic Converter? I didn't have time to check the code but I will later on. Please help.

You got a check the codes first. Gives you a good indication. Because of the bump, something worked loose or something..

Today after work, I installed distributor and coil, spark plugs and new catalytic converter. Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. So my next step will be the O2 sensor. I'm gonna keep this thread updated because nobody seems to solve this problem.
