Honda tech'ers, whats goin on. Okay lets see if we can troubleshoot a situation here to come up with some definate answers which most of us can agree on. For this reason, this thread will talk mainly about a stock swap to a b series or h series.
The goal will be any with the questions on this issue will finally be satisfied with complete trusted answers. Lets use 95 civic coupe as a model if one is needed in the answers that follow.

First Engine: B16c1
1.cost
2.advantages/disadvantages + power (torque, quartermile time(stock))
3.Recomended extras(suspention, etc)
5.Induction (should the engine be turbo which turbo is recommended?
<U>6.Best deals: where can i find this engine (most reliable and best cost)</U>

B16c5
1.cost

you do mean b18c1 and b18c5 right? You also left out a crucial motor; b16

i got an h22a and honestly all i can say is i love it wouldnt have anything eles just cant wait to get more money to do upgrades lol but for cost i paid 4200 for the whole swap with a new 6 puck non sprung clutch looks clean ill try to get you some pics as for what it will run stock i ran a 14.6 on stock 13s gunna try wider and better tires next time though and this was at a cheep track as for anything eles u want to know on the swap just let me know i can get u all the facts for it
cost for motor swap:3700
new clutch: 500
horsepower: 200hp @ fly wheel
torque: around 180 @ fly wheel
being able to smoke built cars: priceless

That's funny, because I really hope this thread gets locked. Every single question asked can be found by searching, most of them 100% comprehensively. The mook who started the thread didn't even put proper engine codes for God's sake .

i just sent my '95 civic hatch cx in to get an h22a put in and i can't wait. Now i'm in a standstill, shouuld i turbo it first, then spray, or should i not even bother spraying, or if i do spray which systems should i consider?!?
