Yes my accord won't go over 3000 rpm's when i press the gas pedal or while driving it. it is like if it is cutting fuel or something but can figure this out. is it a sensor or something like it?

 

Could be fuel or you might wanna check your spark plugs too

 

You're not revving it in neutral, are you? I know the new accords won't let you past 3k or something like that.

Is acceleration smooth up to 3k? Do you notice any stuttering or bucking?

 

It's a 97 and it din't use to do that. only after we intalled the block of a prelude 93. and to do that we remove the tranny and engine because i replaced the tranny too.

 

I would double check all your connections. You might not have connected everything after you installed the motor.

 

maybe something with fuel or the throttle position sensor?

 

no it's not an auto? but i found the problem the crankshaft sensor that is located close to the oil pump pulley was not receiving the right timing brcause the gear had a piece broken

Didn't get the MAP and TP sensor conectors mixed up did you?

 

You don't have any CEL codes right? It almost sounds like the ECU is in safe mode...
