well i was trying to put the USDM plug into the corner lamp of my JDM ITR headlights and it doesnt fit. Do i need the JDM plug? what could be my problem?

 

most people who do jdm conversions don't know, but the corner light is only a signal light. It only blinks, therefore its only a single filament bulb. The JDM plug is different, and is a bit smaller. What you can do on the US plug is just shorten those plastic pieces that locks the plug in place. That way, they will fit into the housing and lock

 

I'm just running the JDM plus with the JDM bulbs in mine. I'm got some civic plugs that should fit with a little grinding of the tabs. I'm going to be using a dual filiament corner for the civic ones ao they stay on and blink.

 

? thats weird i was able to fit my usdm plugs in mine.

i wasnt, i used a dremel and shortened two of the little pieces on the bulb that lock, it works fine now.

 

do i have to trim down all the teeth?

 

no, theres one thats just particularly larger than the others on the usdm vs jdm one.

 

are the 94-97 plugs the same as 98-01 plugs? they are most likely the same. but thats was weird for me cuz i swear i was able to put mine in.i took them back out because i really didnt like the look of the amber since its always on. so i jsut stuck with the jdm plugs.
