Default is there a better option than stock for a 95 Ls tranny

have a bad trans. in a 95 integra LS/vtec and since i have to replace anyway, i was just wondering if there is something better to use? or also can i use any b series trans. on this application?

It really depends, are you looking strictly for performance, or is highway cruising an issue. I've always been a fan of the JDM ITR tranny due to it's good gear ratio's, short final drive, LSD, and multiple synchros on the gears.

i run miles of backroads for hours if that helps and also i'm on a somewhat moderate budget.

where is a good spot to find one?

http://www.totaljdm.com/ might have what you looking for. but i think that buying a brand new, tranny would be the best route, rather than a swap from a previous car.

but man, i'd take a gsr tranny over my ls. 500 bucks or more! new of course
