Default Recommended Tranny for Supercharged '95 LS

I have a stock '95 LS, and I am buying a Jackson Racing Supercharger off my friend for cheap, and I want to know which tranny is best for my that setup. I plan to keep everything else pretty much stock for now. I hear B16 tranny's are great for gearing, however they're ideal for higher redline (which I'm not planning on raising). Will my 1/4mi actually be slower with a B16 tranny? Or should I just keep it stock. Any suggestions?

A GSR tranny is a good add-on if you keep the stock redline. The shorter third makes a huge difference (first and second are basically the same between the LS and the GSR). The LS tranny tops out at 90 MPH in third with at 7000 Rev out where as the GSR tops out right around 80 MPH. I would not recommend a B16 tranny for a 7000 rpm redline. I have a GSR trans on my car now and I like it MUCH better than the LS tranny.
