Does anyone know how to install metal shift bushings?
Did you buy a different shifter with it or not? To put these in you have to take out the stock shifter and you should see them in each corner of the bottom of the shift assembly. take out the bolt/screw (havent done this since last summer) and take out the rubber ones and put the metal ones in. then put the shifter back in and your done. If you go on ClubRSX.com there is a write up about it there.
There are some instruction on the web for this. basic steps:
1) take off the piece w/ cig lighter
2) unscrew those 2 screws u see there
3) pop both sides of the center console (near odbII connector and other side same spot)
4) unscrew 2 screws on rear of center console
5) unclip yer shift ****, unscrew it
6) take entire center console off
7) unbolt your shifter ( 4 bolts secure it )
8) pop out the rubber bushings from the shifter, put 1 metal bushing on top, 1 below
9) put some lube on
10) reverse steps
