short shifter
my cars gotta short shifter on it, but the shifter is pretty loose, is there a way to tighten it? its also kinda tough to get it into reverse

If you actually stick your head under the car, you'll see that the bushings are really easy to replace. One is held on with two bolts, and the other is just pressed into one of the shift linkage arms.

can i get to it by taking the center console piece and shift boot off?
also the guy told me its just needs to be tightened and that the bushings fine, but he has another one i can get if its bad
if it needs tightening how should i do that?

No, you have to take one of the linkage arms down. Just replace them with some energy suspension shifter bushings for a D-series. it's like $20 shipped from ebay.
