say your goin bout 40 in third gear, u downshift into 2nd and dont rev match it high enough, drop the clutch and theres this loud "POP" before it grabs and go. is it only @ low rpms and @ hi mph's it do that ? what is it?

yea...listen to what he said ^^^...that definetly dont sound good...this is ur car here man...try to keep it all in one piece...

 

loud pop is prob yer synchro's going insane trying to match up the speeds. dood man dropping clutch is so not good for your car. always feather FEATHER

 

even when downshifting to smash ? feather??

 

okay guys, im pretty new to stick shifting etc etc could someone either direct me to a place with terms such as feathering or what not so i can more familirize good habits and bad habits while shifting

 

drive normal on the streets.. i dont wanna be the *** next to you having road rage cuz your driving like a lunatic

 

feathering simply releasing the clutch at a gradual speed as u give it gas to compensate. dont drop it fast.
