any opinions on the best oil for the trans. 95 integra ls std
i normally run the honda stuff but BG brought over some fluids to my shop and i decided to "borrow" some to see if they were as good as they said they were. It's called Syncro shift 2. It's a replacement fluid w/ thier additives mixed in already. i put thier stuff in along w/ 1 other additive they reccommend, called LSD something (thicker then regular oil).
Anyways, after i installed the fluids and drove around a bit, i noticed that it did go into gear easier and if i shifted into 2nd or 3rd REAL fast, it didn't "scuff" anymore. Now, about 1500 miles later, it still shifts nice and easy, just falls into gear and if i'm hard on it, it still is easy to get into gear, especially doing a 2nd to 1st downshift in a REAL tight corner (Yes, i know that it can hurt **** but i'm talking about a 15mph corner that opens up into a huge straight so i need all the acceleration i can get) Anyways, just something u can look into. I've heard of people using GM Syncromesh and Kaaz stuff as well and they seemed to like it.
