Oil and transmission coolers
Ive been thinking about adding a oil cooler and a transmission cooler to my civ. I know the benefits of a oil cooler are pretty good, but i am curious how much a tranny cooler would help. the transmission is out of a 91 si. also, where would i run the lines? the drain plug and the level check or fill plug? how would it circulate through the transmission? thanks, sorry if these are stupid questions
Usually when you add a trans cooler you add it to an automatic trans because it gets much hotter then a manual. Don't know how much good a trans cooler on a manual trans will be. I would look more into the oil cooler then the trans cooler.

You're not going to be able to hook up a transmission cooler because it doesn't pump the fluid... Let me know how the oil cooler works.

thats what i was thinking about it not pumping. im not sure yet about the oil cooler. i had primarily looked into filter relo and figured i may as well put in a oil cooler but i havent decided yet.
