Default knock sensor not connected on 93 LS swap. will it hurt anythign?

i swapped a 93 LS in to a 91 DX hatch, i am usin i believe a pg-7 ecu what does that sensor do and will it help if i connect it.

Well the pg7 ecu I think is a obd0 sensor.. I dont think the pg7 uses a knock sensor so then no it wonlt hurt.. If you hook everything up and you throw a knock code then you need it..

The knock sensor tell the ecu when your motor is pinging from bad gas and alot of other things.. The ecu will then retard the ignition timing to stop the pinging..
