CTR Header on a '94 GSR...good/bad? Opinions
Ok. long story short, previous owner did **** poor job on a str8 pipe. He cut the flange right off the end of the header where it meets the cat. Now its all cracked where the did a stupid weld there. I found some a "ctr" header on ebay...comes w/flange! Will this bolt up to a stock cat? Need to know asap. Car sounds like a John Deer. Peace!
Well, a CTR exhaust manifold has a 2.5" collector so it won't bolt up to a stock cat. Don't know if the length of the stock exhaust manifold is the same as a CTR either.
ctr header is a waste of money spend your money somewhere else better. if your gonna get a header might as get something better instead of the ctr so you wont have to get another one later on

So whats up here... never explained why the CTR header is a waste of money. I've done some searching, I don't see anyone bashing the CTR header. I'd like to know if there's something I'm missing here though..
