Hi I'm new here just registered. Heard about this site on ClubSi... Said you guys could help out alot and new your stuff. I own a 00 civic si, i recently sold my jrsc i had on it. When i had it i blew my #3 piston. I semi-rebuilt the motor with a whole new valve train(springs, valves, etc.) and port and polished the head. I got JE srp pistons(9.0:1 c/r) Everything else left stock(didn't have the money to replace rods )

My turbo setup I'm going with is Precision SC50 .63 a/r, Precision intercooler, InlinePro manifold, TiAL wastegate(35mm .4 spring), TiAL BOV, and Precision 440 cc injectors. I'm either going to tune with Hondata or AEM EMS(which ever's cheaper)

I was just wondering how much boost i can run on my motor safely. I was going to try getting around 300 whp. Any info or suggestions would help me on this. Thanks. Sorry for the long post

 

You can easily attain 300hp with that set-up.. so if 300 is your goal, yes you can do it.. but boost is not what you need to be concerned about how much, its the hp that you're engine can handle, not the amount of boost..

Only thing im not sure about are your injectors, i dont know what hp they will max out at but ill see if i can find something.. i think they would max out at around 300 but i am not positive.. step it up and get the 550's.. better to have too much than too little..

Yeah... I was thinking my injectors were too small too. But when i originally started buying the parts i was only going got 250-275hp. I'll probably buy bigger ones. Thanks for the input. All I wanted to know is how much hp all you guys think my motor can handle. Anyone else?
