This might be a dumb question, but I just wanna know if a 92-95 civic si, throttle body will fit on my 94+ gsr.

I need to replace the tps sensor, It will be a ton easier to just replace the whole tb, instead of trying to get the tps out (its riveted) so, just curious if anyone knows if i can just replace the whole throtle body?

Yes it will fit, but I would use the GSR T-body. Let me let you in on a little trick. If you use a small grinding wheel, you can grind a small groove in those "rivets" and make it where you can use a flathead screw driver to remove. They are actually screws and can be backed out!

 

So then can i reuse those screw things??? or not? If i make those rivets screws how do i put the new tps back in? Will these shaved rivets still thread back in?

Furthermore why would i bother doing all that work when i have a full si t-body, and a full gsr one with a wrecked tps. So if the two t-bodies are the same, why not just switch them in 10 minutes and buy a 3 dollar gasket... Is the GSR t-body bigger, or better then the si one? or are they the same? Whats the difference?
