Water pump swap....HELP!!
Ok, I've swapped heads, carbs, exhaust, seats, radiators, injectors, batteries, tires, and friggin stereos, but I've never changed a water pump on any of my Hondas in the past, and now ti's the time to learn how. I need a detailed description how to change the water pump in my Accord (Discription on sig). I can barely see it around the Alternator...and I know it's gonna be a hassle, but it has to be done, and I am not lookin forward to it
. Thanks in advance.

Why do you think you need a new water pump? Is it leaking? Making noise?
Everyone I know who has a Honda does the water pump when they do the timing belt, like every 90K miles. Its just too much of a pain to do it any other time unless you have to. The pump is cheap to replace at the same time.
If you didn't change it when you did your belts, it begs the question: when was the last time you changed your timing belt? If you haven't, nows the time.

I didn't do my belts....and it was leaking so I had to replace it. I could hear the bearing that went out. So now I replaced it and my car sounds normal and it isn't leaking or overheating
