Default Pro Clutch Reviews

Anybody have any experience with Pro Clutch? If so let me know what you think in comparison to CM (the other brand I was looking at, but can get this one for much cheaper).

I don't know about the ProClutch, but I can tell you that I have had experience with Clutch Masters. A buddy of mine has the 4 puck sprung with Fidanza flywheel. He's liking the set-up, has lots of grip and requires a bit of revving to get the car going. Another one of my buddies has the 4 puck Unsprung. His is a little weird to drive, but is also very grippy. Both have a very very soft pedal feel, the unsprung feeling a little softer. Hope this helps! Drop me a PM if you would like more info.

I'm looking for a carbon/kevlar disk actually (something similar to the CM stage 3). I HAVE to have a sprung hub as this will be for daily driving and don't want the super grabby non-sprung setup.

You'd be surprised how many I do.

And yes, I can get one of these Pro Clutches for much much less than the CM. Almost 500 shipped for just a clutch is kicking my bootay big time.

I run an ACT 6-puck solid hub in my daily driver (my only car actually) without any problems....

Remember though Ricey, sometimes its just smarter to drop the cash and pick up something that you know will work rather than being experimental, especially on a daily driver. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any clutch deal I find...

Also, try checking the Sponsors Marketplace once in a while, they tend to have some nice deals on stuff!!

I had a pro clutch. I ran a 4 puck sprung hub clutch. DAILY.

I loved it except for the chatter but that thing holds like no other. Previous clutches I had were CMstage 2 and ACT.

all on dohc vtec's.

PRO CLUTCH DOES HAVE SOME GOOD CLUTCHES, THEY HOLD REALLY WELL, THE PEDAL IS A BIT STIFF ON THERE PERFORMANCE PRESSURE PLATE, BUT THATS WHAT IT TAKES TO HOLD BIG POWER

And many more... Still struggling to find someone with a really bad experience.

Edit: Found some horror stories, but all were due to shoddy installation.
