what is needed for cutom turbo kit

hey i was just wondering what i would need to put together a cusomt turbo kit...
i know i need:
manifold
turbo
wastegate
blow off valve
charge pipe
some sort of fuel management
piping for the intercooler
intercooler
dsm 450cc injectors
i know i need more stuff i just dont know what...like steel braided oil lines...and the tap for the oil pan...where would i get that stuff...im lookin to spend like 1700...i got the manifold already...140 for a custom log manifold...i know i need to use a turbo with a internal wastegate cuz there is no flange on the manifold...so garret t25 is what im prob gonna go for...but what else will i need

Okay, here is what you'll need.
I've bolded what you have already (or know you need)
Mani
turbo(with internal wastegate in your case)
charge piping
intercooler
BOV
Engine management.
Boost/EGT guage
*OPTIONAL*Wideband 02 guage
downpipe
Oil feed line
Oil return line ( I recommend Flamenco-T's setup on this board). I would also ask him about a feed line, but I don't know if he sells one of those.

i might be pickling up a "mint" t25 turbo from a sr20det...i know its a small turbo but i dont think i need anything big for my sohc...is this a good choice...i know people say go fora t3 but i dont wanna g overkill and the t25 seems like a good size
I honestly am not good with a bunch of turbos I've never layed eyes on (or layed eyes on their compressor charts either) but I would ask the FI forum. They can help you better than most people in here. If you have any specific turbo quesions, feel free to PM me.

What's needed for a custom turbo kit?
-KNOWLEDGE, first and foremost.
-Proper tuning. Proper tuning. Proper tuning. Proper tuning. PROPER TUNING.
-Patience for downtime and problems, because you WILL have both.
-A beater. You'll know why once your **** acts up or breaks down altogether. I never thought I'd love a 1991 corolla until I had no damn choice because my turbo civic was pissing oil like crazy the first two days after I installed my greddy kit.
-Deep pockets (or at least some backup money) for fuckups and other problems.
Awareness of theives, because once they hear that BOV or see that intercooler, congratulations - you're on their "pick-up" list. Trust me, I know first-hand.
Self-control, if you want good gas mileage.
A knack for keeping up on regular maintenance, because a turbo Honda is a ticking timebomb IF you don't maintain it.
Double, triple and quadruple-checking ALL your work, from an oil change to a total turbo install. There is very little room for mechanical error with turbo Hondas, or any turbo car really.
True love for your car and your hobby, because owning a turbo Honda will test your patience and resolve like you can't understand. You just have to do it to understand. Either you're going to sell out quickly, or stick with it for the long haul. Other boosted folks know where I'm coming from.
Other than that, whatever the guys listed up top pretty much sums it up.
Hope I didn't scare you away from boost, because once you feel the pull and hear that BOV and the attention turbo demands, it'll be all worth it.

well i have knowledge but im looking to get mroe knoweldge out of this...i have a beater witcyh is actually kind of a nicer car...2003 pontiac grand am(i won it in a raffle)...ive got deep enough pockets to where i can fix this **** if i ahve to...plus since i have college next year the car wont be driven for 9 months and itll ahve time for me to get mo money for upgrades, and for fixing it...
