Disc Brakes...
when i got the car the previous owner had installed some 4 Wheel Cross Drilled Rotors, as i am driving i hear a squekin noise. I replaced the pads, and i noticed there is 2 holes with threads in the rotor hub. Do i need screws to go into there .. I can grab my wheel and shake it .. the wheel doesnt move much, but it moves while the caliper doesnt. I assume i need screws. Anyone know where to get these?
You can shake the wheel while it's bolted to the car with the lugs? That has nothing to do with the little screws, but might indicate a bad wheel bearing. That might explain the squeak you're hearing, although I think bad bearings hum more than squeak (mine did anyway). You said the caliper doesn't move so I don't think it sounds like the tie rod ball joint, but you might wanna check that too.

yeah those screws arent nessesary. your lugs and wheel keep the rotor tight to the knuckle. so unless your lugs are loose your ok. is this on the front of the car? i would say its most likley the bearing in the knuckle. Replaceing the knuckle isnt very hard and you could pick a used one up for cheap. but then you run the risk of haveing it happen agan. imo i would just get a used one but ive never priced a new wheel bearing before i know it has to be pressed out and the new one pressed in so it might be around 50-60$?? a used one (knuckle) should be more like 20-30 at the yard. good luck

well its kinda like a scrubbing noise.. it kinda goes away a litle bit when i apply little brake pedal pressure... should i change rotors out? and get new pads
you already said you changed the pads and if it gets less loud when you apply the brakes its not the rotor neither of those things would cause the wheel to feel loose.
is it in the front or back?
if its the back its more than likley the bearing and if its in the front its either the wheel bearing or the tie rod but if its makeing a noise its prob the wheel bearing. read my post above.

ball joints dont make a squeaking noise they make a clunking noise and usually arent affected when brakes are applied. i deff would put my money on the wheel bearing.
