Yep. Say Goodbye to your Synchros, Short shifter is a bad Idea on a B-series Tranny in my opinion

The short shifter can't help but affect your syncros... with the same movement of your shift **** the syncro moves further, hence the shorter throw necessary to move the syncro through its full range.. problem is that the syncro doesn't actually move further ( of course ) it moves faster.. not quite but sortta like banging off EVERY shift... If you keep trying to beat your syncro's to the gears, sooner or later you will... how long they last is directly related to their pre-existing wear and how often you shift fast in normal driving... everybody shifts fast when they need to, but if you can shift calmly most of the time you should get normal (ish) wear..

Gotta admit a shorter shift sounds good though.. B&M have two shifters... near as I can tell just the material is different between them..
