You're running ten psi on stock d16 injectors? wow. I'd definately move up to 450cc [DSM's are under $60 for the set]. The stock fuel pump should be fine for ten psi on uberdata...but I'd rather spend the $80 for a walbro just to be safe.

Yeah, I second that.
You will at least need 450cc injectors if not larger. and pump is always nice insurance

I'm running uberdata at 10 psi with the stock pump and DSM 450cc injectors. I will probably get a walbro eventually.

My buddy Dave socketed my ECU, made the basemap, and tuned my car on the dyno. If you check the uberdata forum in "ROMs, Tunes, Scripts & Executables" section there is a sticky at the top called "Master ROM database". You can find my bin file and all the info about my car in there.

If you can solder you should have no problem socketing your ECU. Here is a "how to" for a P28 ECU... http://www.ecimulti.org/albums...8.jpg

Transition into boost is perfect in my car. It also idles perfectly.

His basemap is very very good with the fuel. however i don't like the timing portion of the maps (sorry) You're welcome to use my bin for the timing and then import this fuel settings. http://www.geocities.com/dylans83/d16z6b.bin btw- i have 450cc's also and it runs great, a lil rich up top but o well

well I can alter his a bit, I am fine with that,

IF I use his which is set at 10psi or so

can I run that basemap while I am on 7 psi untill I get a boost controller?

beerbong....let me know if you think this will work fine for a base map on my d16z6 with a T3 59 trim .42 AR....... I dont see how it would run lean and if I only boost to 7psi then it will just use the map up to that setting correct?

I have the understanding that if a car is tuned for 20 psi (for example) than it can run at any psi below that and be fine.

Yeah you can run this map at 10 psi and below.

About my ignition maps you need to add 1.5 degrees of timing back because my dizzy was 1.5 degrees advanced when I was at the dyno. We didn't have time to change it back to stock manually so we adjusted it in the ignition maps instead.

Just curious who tuned your car?
It only takes about 30 seconds to adjust your timing

awesome to hear. ive been very impressed with your results man, im thinking about using your basemap for my setup to get started, adjusting the timing accordingly of course .

yusoslo- lightning has a ongoing groupbuy for us h-t members in the sponsor marketplace forum. i wound up getting a walbro 255 w/instal kit shipped next day for 95 bucks. get one of those and some dsm 450's. it will be like 150 bucks total or something close to that, and give you peace of mind, which is priceless

sounds good

Yeah I plan on getting some 450's asap, just looking for a good deal on RC's so I dont have to mess wit the resistor box, which isnt a big deal, but I would like the engine to be as clean as possible

A buddy of mine Dave socketed my ECU, made the basemap, and tuned my car. His screen name is "leed".
