Going Back To N/A Safe After Turbo???
My 95' Gsr is currently turbocharged and I'm planning on returning my car back to stock. I read somewhere that people have blown their motors after returning back to N/A after turbocharging. What can be the cause of this? How do i return it back to stock safely?
Yeah, doesnt sound logical, but i've read somewhere on ht that after they returned to stock, they blew their motors. I'm returning back to stock because I'm selling my car.. Thanks for the replies

If your motor is worn from turbo its only a matter of time before it lets go whether you are NA or turbo. If you took care of it while it was turbo it will probably last a long long time NA.

I was turbo for about a month, then I had to smog so I took everything out and put a dx motor in and that **** was horrible, and so I put the b16 in and that **** is still horrible. I should be boosted again next weekend.

Yeah.. MR2s are dope, especially with a jdm 3s-gte
. I love my gsr but due to the fact that i'm getting raped on insurance (4k a year, full coverage, with state farm under my dads name with a clean record) and the high theft rate of integras, i feel it is better off if i sell the dc2 and start a new project..
