We put my VAFC out of my 92 GSR in a friends car a 98 EX Civic auto. Everything works except the VTEC crossover. The VTI shows when the car crosses over to the hi cam lobes but will not control it. The fuel corections work fine.
It worked fine when I took it out of my car.
Any ideas?

 

double check and triple check the wiring on it, ive done it before and its easy to do

 

I am going to check it myself tomarrow but my friend has checked it twice. I was hoping someone would have an idea of what else it could be besides wiring.

 

Does it ever cross over at all? If yes then it really has to be the wiring I think.

 

Yes it crosses over at stock rpm

 

I checked each wire one at a time they are all right.
