Wired VAFC problems with VTEC
All the wiring is done correctly in my d16y8, i can set VTEC on the controller (5200rpm) but VTEC does not engage at the point i set it to...it continues to come in at the stock change over point (like 5800rpm).....what could cause this...Thanks in advance

Re: Wired VAFC problems with VTEC (mek9fast)
i had the same problem with my vafc on my y8, just double & triple check your wiring, also after i drove my car for along time (hours on end) i got a cel, so just check your wiring, after i fixed a little wiring problem. It may be you didnt split the vtec wire and run it into the vafc and have the wire from the vafc run back into the vtec wire (do not just splice into this wire) read directions carefully, i did mine one day and had problems, then spent alil more time on it and had everything taking care of. good luck, any more ? message me
