OK, I have my turbo setup 95% pieced together for my H22 and I am just waiting on my PLX M-300 wideband O2 that I ordered a couple days ago. But here is my question... What Air/Fuel ratio will be safe to run on a stock H22 bottom end on .45 bar (6.5 lbs.) boost? I know that it varies by RPM range, but is there a previous thread that would be helpful that I missed? I have read quite a few threads on this topic, but they just made my confusion greater. I origionally thought that a Air/Fuel ratio of 16.0-15.5 was ideal and safe, but now I am seeing H22 people running 12.0-13.0? WTF, isn't that hella rich? Please help, anything would be appreciated.

Ok. About the question:

The proper A/F ratio is mainly determined by two things: the setup, and the amount of load on the motor. Obviously you specified the load, and you are only interested in the A/F ratio at full throttle.

So, you have to decide what the proper A/F ratio is for you. The A/F ratio for best power is 12.5:1, but not many cars will be able to safetly run that on pump gas. You usually need to run richer to keep the car from knocking.

Ten's or lower 11's usually work well on pump gas, as a starting point.

15.0 to 16.0 thats hella lean and unsafe. You might wanna try 12.5 to 13.0 max.
