No. Put the Sawzall down. Step away from your suspension.

Honestly? Why the hell would you think that cutting your springs would be a good idea? You'd probably just wind up buying aftermarket drop springs because cut spring ride is complete ****. Not to mention you're ******* over your perfectly good suspension and creating a safety hazard with your car.

Look, just go onto ebay and find a spring that has the amount of drop you want, and then find an aftermarket strut set. Pay for both and install on your car. You'll be so happy.

just small story in case you don't wanna spend 500 bucks on your car that worth 5k pls or minus. My friend cut his springs in his rex and the next day he was going about 60 down a highway and hit a pot hole... needless to say the right front wheel was about 200 feet from the car and the car flipped. So in short he got a broken leg and his car is totaled.

sad thing is alot of people in Ny does this, most the older gen civics or nissan mx3's are a big fan... all you see is them rocking around like their on a boat... dont do it unless you rarely hit or have potholes or what not around your way...
