Anyone please help!!!>...
My girlfriend yes thats right my girlfriend. Did a compression test on my car at her school. I have a 92 honda prelude Si. IT went like this.
looking at the engine right to left. 125, 185, 200, 200. After hearing this I was like something is wrong. People in her class said there was a bad valve. I don't know where to start to correct this. The car is running fine, but still that 125 worries me compared to the 200's. I do believe that those numbers are in psi. This weekend am going to re-gap the cam to the rocker. (that is all i can think to change to make it better.) But wanted to know if any one knew if there is something else i could check? Thanks

If it was the piston ring, then ud be burning oil. If what u mean by a wet compression test being pouring a little bit of oil into ur cylinder, then if it was the rings the number would go up, but i believe it would go up a little more than just 20psi?
Thanks i have been hearing alot of this and really hoping its just a valve. Yes it was a Wet compression test (didn't know what it was called.) Thanks for all the help. Me and my uncle are going to look at it again for anothe opinion.
Has anyone changed a valve and is it hard or do you leave it up to the professionals.???? Thanks
