heres the situation:

I have an avital 6000 avistart alarm, it comes equipped with the remote start, but the remote start piece has been lost.

the question is, if I got an add-on remote start, is it much more complicated to install than the original remote start piece that came with the alarm?

Is your car stick?? if you are having a place like bestbuy install it or a store I think they would not do it cause,Dei will warrenty is voided if installed on a stick..
