HELP!! add on remote start
sup H-T,
heres the situation:
I have an avital 6000 avistart alarm, it comes equipped with the remote start, but the remote start piece has been lost.
the question is, if I got an add-on remote start, is it much more complicated to install than the original remote start piece that came with the alarm?
need help.
thanks

Shouldn't be. I know the DEI 551T and the newer 369D's can be used as add-on modules (with the 551T being designed as a add-on only). You use the aux output of your alarm to enable the remote start.
