Quick question???
It just seems like theres not enough air flow or something because when shifting from 1st to 2nd, it feels like im downshifting and the gear is too low but im actually not. but then after i get above 2000rpm its fine.what do you think?

More details, perhaps? Define "sputters" . . .
Power lags right after you shift & get back on the gas? Or the engine stumbles while shifting? Or does it just sound poopy after shifting? Why do you think an aftermarket exhaust would help?
