do i have to sleeve the block to run forged pistons?
i recently bought a b18b. I want to build the bottom end before i put it in the car. i was only going to put a block guard, pistons and rods in it. But i went to a shop and they said i have to get the block sleeved in order to run forged pistons because they put so much stress on the cylinder walls. I've never heard this before and i know some people that have done pistons without sleeves and it ran fine. so if anyone can help with this problem i'd appreciate it.

Nope you dont have to sleeve the block to use aftermarket pistons and rods.
As you can see with our block packages, there are several stages to choose from. theres jus piston upgrade, then you have your piston and rod upgrade. and finally the complete build up with sleeving, rods and pistons.

thanks. i'm looking to get je pistons 9.2 compression(stock bore), eagle rods(stock length) and a darton block guard. it's going to be a basic rebuild on the block all new everything except crank.
