Ok the CEL on my JDMG2 is throwing #7 and #23......im not getting VTEC but other than that everything is fine...no idle probs no starting probs.......the knock sensor is not there tried grounding the wire...the code went for a while now its back.


question ...is the TPS bad or does it need adjusting...and what are the side effects of leaving it as it is

 

I also threw the "throttle angle code", but it was on my G3 GS.

What ECU are you runnin with that motor ?

and what JDM motor are you running ?

 

the stock ecu...its a jdm xsi ie b16a motor

 

Well, did you take off the Tps sensor and knock sensor to transfer it to another throttle body? or move them in anyway? If you did, you have to "reset" them.

 

well the knock sensor is not there ....i know that for a fact tried grounding the wire ...went away for awhile but now the code is back im just wondering what the side effect of not having it is....also is it bcuz the tps is not adjusted why im getting the code or is it that its faulty...parts are very hard to come by so if all the tps need is adjusting then im ok
