Motor with no vins.. Need help and Advice!!

i was wondering if anyone knew where i can check a block number on a motor to know if it is legit. the vins are not there and i wanted to know if there was a way to check this.. if so where.. thanks

have the state patrol run the block number.

the block number is right underneath where the engine code is. if it's a 94 or 95 usdm motor it will not come with VIN numbers on it.

There is only one reason to remove the numbers off a motor.........do not buy it!

if its too good of a deal, it probably is. dont steal stolen parts.

you seen enough stolen and stripped car threads here to know where the stuff come from...
