My ACURA lettering broke off and I was going to put my old GSR emblem back on. However the GSR emblem has lost its adhesive and I need to know what I can use to glue it back on with without damaging the car's paint. Also I would like to easily get it off later if need be.

 

Some kind of weatherproof 2-sided tape. I know 3M makes one. I used it to put my H back on.

I think it looks best without any emblems. But if you're planning to put it back on, just use thin double sided tape, or if you get aftermarket embles, use velcro.

I tried double sided tape, didnt really work too well. I am afraid of super glue because I don't think u can get it off if u ever had to replace emblems. Does anyone know another method or what the dealerships use to put them back on?

Yea, try the 3M double sided tape. Weather proof would be a big plus.

 

I got the 3M Exterior Mounting Tape at Target. It is waterproof and very strong. Works great

 

Shave it off.
