ground cord...
alright the other night i was trying to put in strobs in my 94 del sol, well i ran into a problem is said connect to a ground cord, so i stripped some of the ground cord that runs from the antena to the back of my cd player...i think i might of cut too deep bc now when i turn on my car the cigg/cd fuse blows...i tried taping it with electical tape...i checked the wires behind the cd player to make sure they were ok....anything else i need to check? i was thinking just run a new ground cord....please let me know no music in my car sucks ***
the wire from the stereo to the power antenna is a (+) wire when the radio is on. that's your problem.... (not to mention the fact that u wasted $$ on strobes for ur car)
if you're trying to ground your stobes to the antenna itself, you need to buy an electronics for idiots book...

i dont think you get the postive part,..because if you did then you would know that a ground is (-) which represents negative ,...which means you are grounding the strobes to a postive lead instead of a negative lead
easiest way to ground your strobes is to find a ground point,..meaning find a bolt that bolts to a piece of metal and use that as your ground

this is a joke right?
this is a joke right?
arg, yeah, ground to bare metal.. TIGHTLY just like a battery connection.
And you probably did waste money on strobes... ive got underlighting for my stock civic ex... got it as a present, all I worry about is breaking them, I dont even use them anymore, they serve no purpose other than being expensive and vulnerable. I so wish I traded it in and got the amp... didnt know id have enough money for the wires then... what a mistake... Now ive got to wait even longer to get the amp and my del sol seats...
