well my car is an obd2 h22a4. and the o2 sensor hole on it is near the end of the collector. i ordered a greddy header and the header is for an obd1 ( o2 sensor hole is farther up the pipe). i havent measured it yet, but im assuming that i would have to extend my sensor wires to make it reach the new location.

would it be bad if i jus took the wires from an old o2 sensor and spliced it into the wires and then crimping it? i wasnt sure if i would have a bad connection. jus making sure, all this might not even be necessary. thanks

 

yea i think that would work, just make sure u do a good job of reconnecting the wires because the 02 sensor runs on very low voltage.
