Default Brake Master Cylinder Brace

Anyone had expiriences with these? or anything similar.. he is claiming a difference you can "feel" .. wondering if its worth the effort...

Yes, you can definately tell a difference. I higly recommend the DRIVE brace

Anyone feel like explaining a lil more in depth about what this brace is accomplishing.. I'd be more than happy to listen


Here is what he says "The basic concept of a Master Cylinder Brace is to help reinforce the firewall to prevent it from flexing. When you press the brake pedal, the master cylinder physically moves due to it being mounted on the very thin firewall. The brace will help to prevent this flexing, and results in firmer pedal feel, and more consistent brake pressure. "

Maybe some pictures .. to show where/how its mounted.. something along those lines..

BMC braces have been widely discussed on this forum before. The general consensus did prefer the brace, but some did not like it.

in the RR/AX forum, it was common for no one to like the MC brace- it will flex against the metal when you push the breaks hard- which really isn't helping much
