Master cylinder brace = bad
So I finally got a hold of an MC brace last week in preparation for the HC race. Well, to our surpise, we found out that they simply do not work right in our cars. The shock towers flex under pressure from the MC. The worst kind are the ones that bolt to the control arms. The base of the control arms actually moves under braking. If you use those 10mm holes in the side, the shock tower bows outwards.
Keep it if you like, but it doesn't improve your braking, just the feel. I'd rather lose some feel than lose my alignment.

I need to look at my mc brace more closely now......

what kind did you try?
I've found no alignment issues after using mine for nearly a year of rough use. I also attached mine with washers to help spread the load.

driving on the street and on the track are completely different levels of braking , remember Warren races his car , even driving hard on the street you are using less than half the pedal pressure he is.

Hmm. Are we sure that the amount of gorilla pedal pressure applied during a flex test in the paddock is comparable to actual pedal pressure needed to stop the car? My guess is that you're pushing harder during the flex test...just a guess!

It's most likely from the booster. So no booster for my car.

Maybe for you, but I beg to differ.

Speaking for anyone involved in racing directly, crew or driver, you are wrong.

Warren-
Which brace are you using? I agree that it's main purpose is simply to improve feel, but I noticed none of the "dynamic change" that you spoke of. I've been using an LHT brace, fyi.

I'm guessing the one he'd be using based on how it is attached would be a cusco unit....
If the unit does cause everything to go all outta wack... I'd go and use the one on Tweakmeister's page with the lumber ties...forget about triangulation and allow it to flex a bit instead of having a solid rigid brace for the master cylinder to push up against causing strange deflection..
FWIW, I'm using tweak's design and can confirm it does flex with no triangulation...I still prefer the feel of a little flex over a setup completely MCB-less
