90 Accord Chime location...
Hey Guys!
First time poster, long time lurker.....Anyways, i just finished up repairing my 1990 honda accord that had that infamous driver door latch problem and now that i got everything back together, the Seatbelts dont retract and the seatbelt warning light flashes and the chime continuously is going off. Rather than try to chase that problem down (unless anyone knows an easy fix) id rather disconnect the chime and the remove the seatbelt warning light. Problem is, i cant seem to locate the chime. So my question is, does anyone know the chime location?

Good first question..You should be able to locate the wire that is connected to the seatbelt that is sending the signal..simply ground this wire and that should do it..
chances are the reason its chiming like it is, is because one of the plugs that plugged into the door latch are either unplugged or something... because my old door latch had plugs to it for the seatbelt... so i'd check those plugs... just a thought...
There's fuses underhood for the entire seatbelt system. One fuse for each side.
As far as the chimes go, there should be something similar to a fuse panel under the dash that also contains your blinker. Refer to a Haynes manual for super-specific details.

it is inside of the control unit under the pasanger's set. You will have to take it out, pry it apart, and yank the buzzer out. If you don't care that your seatbelts don't work anymore, you can just remove this contol unit and keep it out. No buzzing.
My seatbelts did the same thing in my 91. I have a used control unit coming soon, hopefully they will work again.
and welcome to the forum.
